Large Format Printing

Translite_UV™ is an improved process that directly prints the photo quality image on a polyester film supplied by Kodak. The OCE 550 XT UV prints the high resolution image directly using an UV ink system. There is no need for darkroom film processing; the resulting image can be seen as it’s printed. UV ink systems produce matte finishes eliminating the need for a coating. This print format offers additional freedom in image manipulation with a “white layer” offering alternative day night presentations. Print Speed offers a throughput many times faster than the wet process methods. Red spectrum heat signatures from high intensity lamps used to back light the scene were not transmitted when compared to Duratrans examples.

The newest addition to our B3 print systems is an OCE Arizona 550 XT. This printer is capable of printing a 6’ x 10’ rigid substrate 1.8” thick. Near photo quality encourages your designer to be bolder with their graphic presentations. Museum and display graphics were never so stunning, how about a wall graphic that mimics the real world. POP displays were never so effective in showing off a product.

B3DigiGrafx has added another print format to its capabilities the Océ Arizona 550 XT. Printing of large format rigid materials like Sintra, FoamCore and even Wood products is nothing new at B3. The addition of the Océ Arizona 550 XT with “Near-photographic image quality” and high speed adds to its range as a complete solution to retailers. We will begin offering the most aggressive retail display graphic package in November. Samples of this Near-photographic image quality are in the works.

A Variety of materials and formats were required, from direct printed Sintra, Mesh backdrops and sunshades, to double face vinyl on pole banners. All the completed prints were delivered just in time for the county installers to assemble the event structures the evening preceding the weekday event.
