Photo Backdrops, Step and Repeat Banners

Palm Springs International Film Festival and Gala event is well under way in a number of venues around Palm Springs, California. The principal Red Carpet photo shoot takes place through the entry way of the Palm Springs Convention Center. Eighty feet of Cartier and Mercedes logos on the rich red Cartier background provide the photo backdrop for the Gala event. Foam core panels 8 feet tall provide a number of backdrops surrounding the building structure.

This session illustrates how well the the 8′ UV printed sponsor boards perform as a photo backdrop under the intense TV lighting. The 4′ x 8′ 1/2 inch panels were printed on the B3DigiGrafx OCE 550xt printer. Panels as large as 8′ x 10′ with thickness to 1.8″ are directly printed to the substrate. As you see the colors are brilliant.
